At the beginning of July, I had the privilege to photograph a dental staff in Gaylord, Michigan. If you don't already know, I was born and raised in Gaylord, "The Alpine Village", in Northern Michigan. If you have ever driven up to Mackinaw, then you have passed right through Gaylord, or perhaps even stopped for a bite to eat. My absolutely FAV place is La Señorita! I'd eat there once a week if I still lived up there!
So I of course was pumped when Dr Hoyner, from Main Oak Family Dentistry, asked me to take their staff photos(excuse to eat at La Señorita?..I'll take it!). Brian and I have been friends since I think we were like 3, and went to school together. Since finishing Dental School at the University of Michigan, Brian moved back to Gaylord and purchased his fathers dental practice. We have always stayed in touch over the years, and I was honored when he asked me to take his office staff photos. He also wanted something a little different. Upon talking ideas, we settled on a cauldron that is now a bike path that runs through Gaylord. We only had a short lunch period to get the staff photos, and the group photo(including Brian's dog Chase). I absolutely love how these turned out, and they make a great new addition to his website.
These are the photos they used and you can check out Main Oak's website here.
