Design Consultation
This appointment kicks off your portrait process here at Freeland Photography. I want to get all the information on who we are photographing. What is the scoop? What is everyone's personality like? Understanding the personality of my clients help me capture the most natural images.
I will answer every question you have, and maybe some you hadn't thought of yet! Questions like:
What kind of clothing should we wear?
Where should we take our portraits?
What are all the different products you can invest in?
Where are suitable areas to showcase the portraits we will be creating.
And other questions like, do we bring the family pet?(Yes...Yes you should!)
Before this consult I will send you my What to Wear Guide and talk about the look and feel you want of this session. Do you want more formal and posed? Do you want more lifestyle and connections captured? There are no wrong answers, only what you are more drawn to!
The Session
This is where you can relax and just enjoy the portrait session. Now that we have planned out where you want to enjoy your portraits, and what the look and feel of them will be, it's my job to create the images you are going to love. My job is to make this fun and not stressful for anyone(dads included!) If you get get your family dressed, and to the studio or location, I will handle the rest!
The Premier Ordering Appointment
The appointment is booked when we book your session. I can do your appointment directly after your session, or up to 1 week later. This appointment is the time that is set aside to finalize your portrait order, so make sure whoever needs to be involved in this decision can be there.
I use state of the art technology so I can display your photos directly on your walls. This helps me scale the images correctly to eliminate the stress of figuring out what size will be best. No one wants to purchase something too small or too big for a space. You want just the right size so you can confidently show off your portraits.
Stressed you won't be able to make a final decision? No worries, this is what the pre-session consultation is for. I will help design wall concepts or discuss album options so you know exactly what and where you want your portraits.
