So we are gonna get this going here. I promise. I say this EVERY month. I'm gonna blog more..and then weeks go by and here we stand! BUT it is OVER. And I will be challenging myself to BLOG EVERYDAY until the end of September. It will be a combo of clients, fun work, interesting things I find, and whatever else I feel like getting out into the world. But my most meaningful will be photos and sessions of my amazing clients. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for the amazing people who believe in me to capture the people and things they love in this world.
I wanted to talk about Class of 2018 Senior, Carrie Beilfuss. Not only do we share our awesome name, I met Carrie when I photographed her older sister Maggie. Since then I have grown to love her whole family and was able to capture their family portraits a couple of years ago. I love when my clients turn into friends and I get to see how they grow and do great things in this world. It was such an honor to do that for Carrie's older sister, Maggie, and now see her blossom after she has graduated high school, then college, and now is living her life in Nashville.
I was honored that Carrie chose to be a part of my Dream Team and I have gotten to see her grow and blossom in the last year. We had a great time at her session. We started at my home studio, doing some portraits out by the river and pretty nature scenes. We then quickly moved to Albion, Michigan to finish up her session. It was such a great memory because I photographed Maggie there too for her senior portraits. We had a great time laughing, mom, Janet, driving myself and my assistant around in the back of a Gator, and dodging poison ivy!
Obviously Carrie is a beautiful girl, but it's her sweet and gentle personality that brings a calming presence to all of our interactions and shoots together. I am so so honored to have been able to capture her senior portraits and create a beautiful coffeet table book of her favorite images. I am proud to show you her photos!
Here are a few fun behind the scenes looks at her session from SnapChat and Instagram:). Follow along for the action at @freelandphotos
