Having a client who I have gotten to see grow up is one of my favorite moments. I started my Dream Team Jr about 4 years ago after having a wonderful Senior Dream Team for a few years before. I love getting to know these young ladies and seeing them grow and pursue the things they love and then graduate and head off to their lives!
I met Ayrianna when she was in just 8th grade and she joined my monthly photo session program. I also got the opportunity to photograph her mother, herself and her younger sister together for a fun girls day out shoot. It has been so wonderful watching her grow up and turn into a beautiful young woman. I loved Ayrianna’s session because it was an early morning session. I know it may seem crazy to start at 8am, but some of my best shoots and the BEST lighting come first thing in the morning. We really can create magic! Her smile and laugh really are what makes this session even more perfect. From laying in a field in a prom dress, to cheerleading photos on her home field, it was a beautiful morning together!
“The whole session was my favorite! I got shots in my prom dress I am not sure I’ll get to wear so I’m very thankful for that! I loved my cheer pictures too;) Also laughing and bonding with Carrie.”
I’m glad she got to cheer in her last football season before COVID-19 took over and cancelled the remainder of her senior year at Lumen Christi High School. Her favorite part of Senior year was bonding with all the seniors and going to all the sporting events. Her advice for upcoming Juniors? “Make the most out of your senior year because it could be cut short like mine. It’s the best year because you realize you may not see everyone, so you all make the most of it.
Right now Aryianna is staying in touch with friends thru social media. They are all going to be missing the last parts of their senior year. Spring break, prom, laughing and hanging out with her friends is what she is going to miss the most. The best advice she has to other seniors during this Stay Home order is to keep busy and don’t get too bored.
Next year Ayrianna is deciding between going to Jackson College or Adrian College! Some fun facts about Ayrianna is that she wants to travel to Australia one day. And she actually moved to Jackson when she was 13 years old!
Her super power of choice would be telepathy. “I think it would be cool to an extent to read people's mind, but I would LOVE to read animals minds to see what they are thinking when we talk to them!” What a cool way to use that power!
Her spirit animal would be a butterfly because they prove that if you really want to change, you can do it. They show how you can transform from one thing into another. It’s not impossible!
It has been such an honor to photograph Ayrianna over the years and I’m excited to see what she is going to do next! Take a look at her photos and leave her some love!
